If you purchased your Acronis product online, then you should have received your serial number in an automatic E-mail that was sent to the E-mail address that you provided at the time of the purchase. Alternatively you can find your product serial number in your account at My Orders. See Purchasing on Acronis Website FAQ.
If your serial number is not registered yet, you will be prompted to enter the serial number manually. Click Enter serial number, type in or paste the serial number, and click Activate.
Acronis True Image Serial Number
The program will generate an installation code. It uniquely identifies the computer where Acronis True Image is installed and what license key was specified. It is not the same thing as the license/serial number, however. Save your installation code to a file by clicking the Save to file button, and specify a removable media as the file location (for example, a USB flash drive). You can also write down this code on a piece of paper.WindowsMac

If you purchased an upgrade version of Acronis True Image 2021, after you specify the license key for the upgrade version, the product will prompt you to enter another serial number. In the second field please enter a serial number for an earlier version of Acronis True Image. After providing both keys, follow the usual online or offline activation procedure.
If an earlier version of Acronis product is already installed in your system, installation assistant will recognize serial number from the earlier version automatically and will not prompt you to enter a second serial number.
If you have bought an upgrade from a free OEM version of Acronis True Image, you need to install Acronis True Image 2021 on top of the free version. Otherwise you will be prompted to enter the serial number for the earlier/older version to activate the upgrade. Learn more at
We purchased from WD the Acronis software at the deal price! We did notice that there was a serial number, but failed to write it down as we are so used to using software to remember this kind of stuff!
Please note that most people are NOT WD employees or support staff. We are users just like yourself who came here for one reason or another and have said to try and help others. This site is primarily a user-to-user support site. Most here will be unable to provide you your missing software serial number since we are not affiliated with WD or Acronis.
Both the volume label and the serial number are part of the filesystem metadata, not the hardware, and are copied by every tool which makes a direct block copy of the entire partition (as opposed to copying just the files to a brand new filesystem).
I am not certain but I do not think so. The volume serial number of the target device will be different as these are part of the drive and not any software (and so the source serial number cannot be used on any other device). So no point to copying it.
For the record, I pay for software I deem worthy of purchase. I currently own Partition Magic by Symantic, Acronis True Image Home Edition 2009, Roboform, DVD Fab Platinum, Windows XP Home Edition and others. All of which I have the original CD's and or serial numbers for. I even paid for a program called Matter of Time, which is my homepage. I also pay an annual fee to a website called Weather Underground, just to have the privilege of using their website throughout the year. 2ff7e9595c
